A few gentle guidelines to help you feel at ease and support the collective energy of our space.
Welcome to The Wellness Room. This is a space to soften, breathe, and reconnect. To help create a peaceful and respectful environment for everyone, I kindly ask that you keep the following in mind when attending class.
What to wear
Please arrive in clean, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Out of respect for others, I ask that you avoid wearing perfume or strong fragrances, as many students can be sensitive to scent.
Phones & Devices
To preserve the quiet energy of the space, please turn off your cell phone before class.
Photos
You're welcome to take photos before and after class - but I ask that you refrain from photography during practice to honor the privacy and presence of others.
Nourishment
Yoga is traditionally practiced on an empty stomach. I recommend waiting:
-
1 - 2 hours after a light snack
-
3 - 4 hours after a heavy meal
Please hydrate before class, as water is typically not consumed during practice. That said, feel free to bring a water bottle if you need.
Health & Safety
Please arrive a few minutes before your first class to fill out a health form and let me know if you have any injuries, health conditions, or if you're pregnant. I am happy to offer modifications to support your comfort and safety.
Equipment Provided
I provide all the props and equipment: mats, blocks, straps, and blankets. You're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Arriving Late
If you arrive after class has started, please enter quietly and respectfully. I want everyone to feel held and undisturbed during their practice.
I am so glad you're here. Thank you for helping me keep The Wellness Room a space of peace, presence and gentle transformation.
