Studio Etiquette
When you come to class.
Welcome to our yoga studio! We want you to feel comfortable and prepared for your practice, so here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your experience with us.
Please wear comfortable and clean clothing to your class. To be mindful of other students, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing perfume or other strong fragrances
We also ask that you turn off your cell phone before the class start to create a peaceful atmosphere for everyone.
It is acceptable to take photos before and after the classes.
Traditionally, yoga is practiced on an empty stomach, 1-2 hours after a light snack and 3-4 hours after a heavy meal. We recommend that you drink plenty of water before your practice, as water is usually not consumed during class, or at least limited. However, feel free to bring your water bottle if you don't have time to hydrate beforehand and feel you need it.
Please bring your completed health form and let your teacher know if you have any pre-existing or current injuries, or if you are pregnant. Our instructors are happy to provide modifications to ensure a safe and comfortable practice for you.
We provide all of the equipment and props for your practice. (mats, blocks, straps, blankets)
If you arrive late to class, we ask that you please honor the other students by entering the studio quietly. We want everyone to feel welcome and at ease during their practice.
We look forward to seeing you in class!
